Instructional Classes Offered
Tiny Tykes: (Ages 18 mo-2 years) This instructional 45 minute coed class is designed for a parent and tot. This class requires a parent to assist. We’ll be working on developing gross motor skills through movement and balance. Children will be using our recreational gymnastics equipment.
Sunshines: (Ages 3) This instructional 55 minute coed class is designed for children to work specifically on gymnastics skills by developing awareness and coordination without the assistance of parents. Children must be potty trained.
SuperStars: (Ages 4-5) This instructional 55 minute coed class is for children to work on vault, bars, beam, and floor. They will become more familiar with the positions and terms associated with gymnastics.
Beginner Gymnastics I: Equivalent to Level 1 – An entry level class teaching basic principles of gymnastics. This Beginner I class practices up to one hour and five minutes to three hours a week if they choose to take additional classes. An additional tumbling class a week is advised as well as a kid’s yoga class once a week for optimal development. This is simply a suggestion, and optional. (Tuition is paid on the 25th monthly. A one time annual membership fee of $40.00 is paid annually on your anniversary month.)
Beginner Gymnastics II: Equivalent to Level 2 – Beginning level gymnastics. In this level we are working on skill progressions with mini routine development. This Beginner II class practices up to two hours and ten minutes a week (if they take a bundle class offering) of regular gymnastics classes. An additional tumbling and gymnastics class a week is advised as well as a kid’s yoga class once a week for optimal development. These suggestions are optional, however. (Tuition is paid on the 25th monthly. A one time annual membership fee of $40.00 is paid annually on your anniversary month.)
Beginner Gymnastics III: Equivalent to Level 3 - Practice is suggested to be four days a week (with bundle option) for around 9 hours per week. In this level, we will continue to work on skill level progressions and mini routine development. There will be “In House” performances for the children to display their skills and mini routines.
Beginner Gymnastics IV: Equivalent to Level 4 - Practice is suggested to be four days a week (with bundle option) for around 10-12 hours per week (could be more hours if they take an a la carte additional class. In this level, we will continue to work on skill level progressions and mini routine development. There will be “In House” performances as well as “Move-Up” meet opportunities for the children to display their skills and routines. (Tuition is paid on the 25th monthly. A one time annual membership fee of $40.00 is paid annually on your anniversary month.) An additional tumbling class a week is advised as well as a kid’s yoga class once a week for optimal development. These suggestions are optional, however.)
Beginner Boys I: (Ages 6+) This 65 minute instructional class is for boys to be introduced the basics and trained on all of the apparatuses which include: floor exercise, pommel horse, p-bars, high bar, mushroom, rings, and trampoline.
All Stars Boys: (Ages 6+) This is a 65 minute instructional class where children will continue to develop gymnastics skills. They must have completed some basic form of recreational gymnastics to have this next level of training. Must have completed Beg. I (or tested out) with specific skill levels. This class is the next level of continuation from our beginner I class for boys.
All Star Boys II: (Ages 6+) This 65 minute instructional class for boys will require the passing of Beginner I and our All Stars I continuation class. In this class children will continue to develop their gymnastics skills at a higher level.
All Stars Boys Intermediate: (Ages 6+) This 90 minute instructional boys class will be a more advanced class after the Beginner I/II classes are completed with mandatory skills learned. Children will advance to our Intermediate Boys class, and continue to develop their skills at a higher level.
Intermediate Gymnastics-Girls: (Ages 6+) This class is for girls who have completed the beginner levels. Children will continue to develop skills at a higher level with this class . They must have completed Beg. II Level or tested out. This class is an hour and thirty minutes.
Intermediate Gymnastics: Equivalent to Level 6 & 7 – Practice is suggested to be three to four days a week for around 12 hours per week. “In House” performances will take place at this class level. (Tuition is paid on the 25th monthly. Two intermediate tumbling classes plus two intermediate gymnastics classes is suggested to meet the hours for this program. A one time annual membership fee of $40.00 is paid annually on your anniversary month.)
Intermediate Gymnastics II: Equivalent to Level 7 & 8 – Practice is suggested to be four days a week for around 15 hours per week. “In House” competitions style performances will take place with medals and all. (M-TH) (Tuition is paid on the 25th monthly. A one time annual membership fee of $40.00 is paid annually on your anniversary month.)
Advanced Gymnastics I: Equivalent to Level 9 – Practice us suggested to be 4-5 days a week for around 16-20 hours per week. (M, T, TH, F) (Tuition is paid on the 25th monthly. A one time annual membership fee of $40.00 is paid annually on your anniversary month.)
Advanced Gymnastics II-Girls: (Ages 8+) This is a two hour class for girls, and is a continuation from our Advanced Gymnastics I. This will be the highest level of training with our gym. We will teach higher level skills with good basics and technique so children are ready, if they wish, to go to a team program. Dominique Moceanu will regularly teach this class. Another coach may be available on occasion, however, and will do skill work in this class on all apparatuses. The focus will be on perfecting the skills with good basics. Gymnasts from other gym clubs are welcome to join this class to work on challenging areas. Dominique believes deep focus work is important for any skill development, and this class offers deep focus skill work. Join the class to improve your gymnastics skills!
High School Gymnastics: High School Gymnastics Program will typically take place from 3:30-5:30pm (M, T, W, TH). If you’d like to try out for your school team and you’re currently a walk-on, but would like to develop your skills to make the team one day, you’re more than welcome to work out with our high school gymnastics team. The season is November-March (or May if qualifies to Districts, Regionals, and/or States) (Tuition is paid on the 25th monthly. A one time annual membership fee of $40.00 is paid annually on your anniversary month.)
Advanced Gymnastics 20 Hour a week Program: This class is created to perfect existing skills, learn new skills, work on basic principles of gymnastics, create preparation for high level of gymnastics done cleanly in preparation for high school competitive gymnastics, and also skill work for the collegiate level working towards a scholarship. This is a special 20 hour a week class that has dedicated gymnasts in it with excellent attitudes willing to work hard, dedicate themselves to improving their technique, basics, form and inspire to be the best they can be in the sport at the highest level. This level is a skill level of 8, 9, 10 only.
Equivalent to Level 8-10 – Required practice 5 days a week for around 20 hours per week. In this class we work on the development of skills for high school and collegiate gymnastics prep program. If you’d like to improve your skills to compete at the higher levels one day, this is a great class for you. “In House” competitions will take place with medals at the appropriate times. Dominique Moceanu coaches this class. This is a great program for children eyeing high school (at their highest ability possible) competitive gymnastics and have their dreams focused on getting a college scholarship. (M,W,TH,F,S) 4:00pm-8:00pm M-F, and 9:00am-1:00pm - Saturday.
Spending time in the developmental phase is critical in creating the overall best gymnast possible. In this class we focus on the full-rounded development of your children. In this 20 hour a week program, we include 17 hours of gymnastics time, a power yoga class taught by Dominique, a restorative yoga class and a dance class once a week. This program is by invitation only. Qualifications for the class include, but are not limited to, an outstanding attitude ready and willing to learn, showing the utmost dedication, and a promising work ethic. Prior to booking this class online, please make sure to contact our office for appropriate placement. (Tuition is paid on the 25th monthly. A one time annual membership fee of $40.00 is paid annually on your anniversary month.
Beginner Tumbling I: (Ages 6+) This 65 minute coed instructional class is strictly for children who only want to learn tumbling skills. No instruction on apparatuses (vault, bars, beam). There will be appropriate skill work on the trampoline to improve and advance tumbling technique.
Cheer Tumbling: (Ages 6+) This 65 minute coed instructional class focuses on tumbling strictly for cheerleaders. We are willing to work on what you need the most.
Intermediate Tumbling: (Ages 6+) This 90 minute coed instructional class is for children who have accomplished beginner tumbling skills and want to move to the next level with emphasis on back handsprings.
Advanced Tumbling: (Ages 8+) Dominique Moceanu will regularly teach this class. This 90 minute coed instructional class is for children who want to work front and back tucks, front and back layouts, front and back twisting, and much more! The sky is the limit!
Specialty Class: Vault/Bars Focus: Come in once a week to practice the skills you may need to improve upon or maybe don’t have the time to practice as much as you would like. We enforce basics, drills work, progressions in order to reach the maximum potential of the skill needed. This class is for all levels ages 8-17 with a special emphasis on Vaulting and Bars.
Specialty Class: Beam/Floor Focus: Come in once a week to practice the skills you may need to improve upon or maybe don’t have the time to practice as much as you would like. This class is for all levels ages 8-17 with a special emphasis on Beam and Floor.
Gym Dance: This 60 minute class is designed to improve the gymnast's dance skills. This class will focus on technique, drilling, and conditioning that is specifically designed to improve your dance tricks for floor and beam. We will focus on jumps, leaps, turns, arabesques, and stretching.
Advanced Dance: This class is offered to the elite gymnast to build a stronger dance technique that will be carried over into their gymnastic skills. The class will allow the student the space to master basic dance techniques while learning new and more challenging turns and leaps. In addition to technique, the student will enhance their ability to quickly learn dance routines and be exposed to different styles of dance within the routines.
FLEXIBILITY AND STRENGTH (75-Minute Class): A class dedicated to proper warm-up and stretching technique for athletes of all-ages and who are working in any genre of athletics. Class will focus on a long-lean muscle approach, while reinforcing stretching within your comfort zone for maximum success. Strength conditioning will be done throughout class, focus will be on strengthening complimentary muscle groups.
Adult Gymnastics: Love the sport and want to get back in the gym to do some gymnastics? Join this 18+ class and enjoy all of it’s offerings.
OPEN GYM & KARAOKE NIGHT! FRIDAY NIGHT’S ARE FOR FUN! (Ages 6+) Join us for our open gym and karaoke night! It’s a fun way to enjoy gymnastics along with some karaoke in a fun, safe and enjoyable atmosphere. It’s always on Friday night from 6:00pm-7:00pm, and 7:00pm-8:00pm so bring a friend for the fun!
ALL-STAR CHEER: A class dedicated to the athlete who is working to become or is currently an all-star cheerleader. Focus will be on connection skills, including but not limited to jumps with connected skill (back handspring, back tuck), specialty pass connections, and routine specific tumbling. Tuition is on the 25th of every month for the next month. You'll typically get four classes a month when coming in once a week for this class.
PEE WEE CHEER: This class offers the beginner basics of sideline cheer basics. Teaching the foundation of motion technique, while focusing on gross motor skills, focusing on proper body positions, alignment, and building structurally sound athletes from the start. Our pee-wee athletes will learn various chants, cheers, and dance skills, helping to create the understanding of body and movement. Class will consist of a warm-up, stretching with proper technique, age appropriate jump skills, motions, voice control and basic tumble.
Adult Dance (18+) Jazz, Dance Class: A dance technique class where you will get the basics of ballet (which are the foundation to much of what you do in jazz) to be utilize in a fun and upbeat jazz class without the intimidation of walking into a strictly ballet class! You will start with a jazz/ballet warm up, followed by across the floor dance techniques, wrapped up with dance combination to the “theme of the week.” Each week will have a theme, such as a certain artist, music from a decade, movie/ musical soundtracks, or music genres that will be danced to throughout the class and that culminates with a combination to that theme!
Themes: Michael Jackson, 80s Pop/Rock, Boy Bands, Britney Spears…
What to wear: Dance pants, leggings, yoga pants, or dance shorts; tops that are not too loose-fitting that you can move comfortably in whether it is a tank/tee/long sleeve (or leotard if you’re comfortable with that); jazz shoes, ballet shoes, or socks (if you do not have dance shoes)
