Amber Hopton

Bio: Tumbling has been a part of my life since the age of 10 and I became a cheerleader in 7th grade. Tumbling in my eyes was the best part of being a cheerleader and I continued taking classes throughout middle school and high school. Being at the gym and having amazing coaches taught me a lot in my young years and I have so many great memories. I started coaching my senior year at the same gym that taught me so much. I have more than twenty years of Power Tumbling/Trampoline and Cheer coaching experience as well as having many state and national champions/teams. I reside in Orrville where I was born and raised and work full time as a shipping coordinator and assistant manager.

Motto: Be true to yourself, an original is worth way more than a copy.

Why I love teaching: Its rewarding to see the excitement on students face when they achieve a personal goal or a new skill.

Fun Fact: I have a big soft spot for stray animals and usually pick them up to get them to a shelter or find them a home
