Gymnastics Instructor (USAG Safety Certified, Safe Sport I, II, III Certified)
Bio: Courtney is a teacher for Medina City Schools teaching grades K-5 Physical Education. In 2012 she graduated with my B.S. degree in Health and Physical Education with minors in coaching and aquatics from Slippery Rock University. When she was six years old she took her first gymnastics class and competed through high school for Greenville School of Gymnastics. She has three years of gymnastics coaching experience. Outside of teaching and coaching, she enjoys hiking and being in the outdoors with her husband and their three dogs: Frankie, Kyrie, and Sheldon. Courtney also enjoys spending time with my family and traveling as much as possible.
Motto: One of my all-time favorite quotes is, “Each of us has a fire in our hearts for something. It’s our goal in life to find it and keep it.” - Mary Lou Retton
Why I love coaching: I absolutely love helping my students learn new skills and encouraging them to achieve their goals.
Fun Fact: I have 3 older brothers, but I’m the toughest of the family ☺️
