Carrie Esker

200 RYT Yoga Instructor

Bio: Carrie is RYT200 trained at Yoga Bliss Akron with Amy Boswell and Tracy Rhinehart.  Carrie is passionate about bringing balanced healing to the underserved community and serves as the Wellness Director for RAHAB Ministries Safe House for trafficked girls and women. Additionally, she teaches at Heartsong Studio Medina, Rootz Yoga Wadsworth, The Barn Wellness Cooperative Hinckley, Yoga Bliss Fairlawn/Green. She offers workplace wellness classes, teaches Yoga-In-The-Park for Medina County and has developed a middle school girls empowerment program (Soul-Sisters-678) for Highland Schools that uses yoga and meditation as an anchor for growth, understanding and transformation. 

Carrie is a certified Trauma Informed Yoga Facilitator and received her certification from David Emerson at the Kripalu Institute, MA. Emerson is the author of Overcoming Trauma Through Yoga:Reclaiming Your Body. 

Carrie lives in the Granger Township with her husband Tim. Her greatest joy is watching the lives of her four children expand and unfold.

Why I love teaching yoga: We live in a broken world where suffering is universal. I LOVE teaching yoga because yoga is everything that brokenness isn’, welcoming, calm, healing, nurturing, authentic, compassionate, inspiring, encouraging, inclusive, forgiving and come be stretched from the inside out!

Fun Fact: I had four children in four years with no twins!
